One of the difficulties of analyzing handwriting is that sometimes there is
no sample of the person’s handwriting in which it can be compared to. In such
cases,the suspected writer of the document is asked to write a piece of text by
the document examiner. The danger in this is that the writer may
purposely change their writing style in order to deceive the investigators
analysis. However certain writing techniques cannot be changed easily since
these are done automatically without the brain thinking. And the writer may not
be aware of their handwriting style.
